Are you interested in serving as a member of the BPA National Officer Team? Do you want to develop your leadership skills and get connected to other students across the country through BPA? Although the 2020 National Leadership Conference was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the National Officer Election process for the 2020-2021 Membership Year will proceed online through an electronic alternative.

Run For National Office

Members running for office can read 100 Tips for Running for Office

Are you a potential national officer? A brief review of the requirements will encourage you. The national officer experiences the ultimate appreciation of Business Professionals of America membership, and chapter members will experience greater involvement through their officer member. Candidates must meet certain requirements and personal qualifications.

Voting Procedures

The Policy & Procedures Rule, which states that Head Voting Delegates must attend the Candidate/Head Voting Delegate Briefing Meeting, will be strictly enforced. States not complying will lose all of their votes.

Voting opens at 8:00 a.m. ET on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 and closes at 4:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, May 6, 2020.

To be eligible for this program, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • A Middle Level member in good standing with the organization.
  • All forms must be completed and returned by the assigned deadlines.
  • Be in attendance at the National Leadership Conference.
