The Goal of National BPA Virtual Membership is to serve students not currently able to participate in Business Professionals of America programs at the Middle Level, Secondary and/or Post-secondary level through a state chapter.
National virtual membership is open to any Middle Level, Secondary or Post-secondary student interested in business, finance, IT, and/or marketing enrolled in a program of learning, in a state not currently chartering a stand-alone school chapter or virtual chapter.
Overview
A national virtual member at the Middle Level, Secondary or Post-secondary level is a nonaffiliated individual that does not have access to a chartered chapter, albeit active or inactive, and belongs to a secondary program or any other recognized education program at the Middle Level, Secondary or Post-secondary level, that currently holds an interest and is enrolled, or has been previously enrolled in a business, finance, information technology, and/or marketing related education field.
What are the benefits of a BPA Virtual Chapter?
Members in the National Virtual Chapter would receive all of the rights and privileges as a student member as outlined in the National Policy & Procedures Manual, and have access to all member services and programs, including but not limited to:
Student Member Certification Series
Chapter/National Officer Positions
Torch Awards
Virtual Events
WSAP Competitive Events
National Leadership Conference
Want to learn more about BPA Virtual Chapters?
Members in a state supported Virtual Chapter would receive all of the rights and privileges as a student member outlined in the National Policy & Procedures Handbook and would be counted as traditional Secondary or Post-secondary members for the purpose of allocating Delegate Votes & Corporate Votes (where state charters apply).
National Virtual Chapter members would not be allocated Delegate Votes or Corporate Votes.
