What is Business Professionals of America?

Business Professionals of America is the leading Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) for students pursuing careers in business management, office administration, information technology and other related career fields.

BPA has more than 45,000 members in over 1,800 chapters in 25 states, China, Peru and Puerto Rico. BPA is a organization that supports business and information technology educators by offering co-curricular exercises based on national standards.

NOTE: In addition to the national membership dues listed above, each member may be responsible for state membership dues, which are regulated by each chartered State Association. Please contact your State Advisor for additional information on state membership dues.

* Associate members are included in the Secondary Division.

How is BPA organized?

Each BPA Charter state has its own governing body and a State Advisor who directs state programs and conferences. National Business Professionals of America is built from the partnership of these State organizations working together. The national organization benefits members by producing the Workplace Skills Assessment Program, national conferences, national programs and representing/uniting the organization. Each BPA chapter is part of a State BPA organization (unless it's an independent chapter) as well the national BPA organization.
