Students begin with a Regional competition. The top qualifiers compete at State conference, and finally, those ranked the best of the best compete at the National Leadership Conference in May of each year. Competitions range from individual to team, from objective tests to judged presentations.

Each competition helps students prepare to be part of an effective, skilled national workforce.

Interested in competing virtually?

Virtual Competitions are available at the National level only and are open to all BPA student members. There are no regional or state competitions to qualify. The purpose of the national virtual events is to support BPA students who want to compete in a national event but are limited in travel due to budget cuts or limited support from their home school.
