Business Professionals of America Releases List of Student Certification Series Honorees

Business Professionals of America is pleased to release the names of the Student Certification Series Class of 2018-2019. Representing more than 15 states and the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico, this group of 495 students successfully completed the program certification requirements and will be honored in May at the National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California.

The Business Professionals of America National Student Certification Series is designed to educate and train student members regarding the programs and benefits of BPA. Students who have successfully completed the series have finished six hours of online training, six course projects and additional life-skill development programs during the fall semester.

By completing the series, students gain understanding about vital areas within the organization and receive essential tips on recruiting, competing, fundraising and more. This knowledge allows BPA student members to successfully implement what they have learned for both personal and chapter success.

The goals of the program include preparing new members for success throughout their membership experience, retaining existing members through supportive training materials, and providing information, resources and training that will promote service learning and servant leadership among members.

Facilitated by the organization’s National Officer Team, this program has resulted in more than 2,500 students receiving national recognition for their participation since the program’s inception.
