Texas NLC Trading Pin Design Contest

Purpose:
To design a state BPA pin to exchange at the 2025 National Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida. Top winners will each receive a pin (at NLC), a certificate, and $50. The winner will be recognized at the Special Recognition Ceremony at SLC.

Eligibility:
Any current member of the BPA Texas Association.

Design Criteria:
  1. Must include at least ONE of the following:
      a. The word “Texas
      b. The abbreviation “TX” and/or
      c. The state outline on the pin design.
  2. Must include at least ONE of the following:
      a. The words “Business Professionals of America
      b. The abbreviation “BPA” and/or
      c. The BPA logo.
  3. Design should NOT include a date.
  4. You must submit your design as both of the following:
      a. JPEG FILE
      b. ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR (.AI) FILE OR a VECTORIZED FORMAT
  5. Design must be designed digitally and submitted using both methods described above. CONTESTANTS THAT DO NOT SUBMIT BOTH FORMS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
  6. Name of font and source of graphics must be included on the Pin Design Submission form.
  7. Multiple entries per chapter are acceptable, however, each design must be submitted separately and have its own submission form.
  8. One design per Pin Design Submission Form.
  9. The size of the graphic should be approximately 1.5” X 1.5”.
  10. You may not use any words, diagrams, clipart and/or artwork that are not public domain.
  11. No copyright items may be used, even with written permission.
  12. Digital copy of the graphic must be submitted with the Pin Design Submission Form.
  13. You will be notified by email when your logo design is accepted for judging after December 6, 2024.
  14. Pin designs and T-shirt designs must be submitted in separately.

Method of Evaluation:
The State Officer Team will judge the entries at their December meeting and submit the final designs to the Board of Directors for final decisions. Advisors will be notified prior to the State Leadership Conference regarding pin design selections. If the designs submitted do not meet the specifications outlined, it will not be considered.

Entry Deadline:
The entry must be date and time stamped no later than 11:59 p.m. on December 6, 2024.
