Chapter advisors will be receiving an email with login credentials shortly before the start of the election at 12:00 pm on February 18, 2025. Each chapter will receive 2 (two) votes.

Ayaan Magoo
As a dedicated member and Regional Vice President of BPA, I have coordinated and supported both regional and state competitions, fostering member engagement and empowering students to succeed. If elected, I will focus on creating a supportive environment where every member feels valued and motivated to achieve their goals. I aim to strengthen collaboration and mentorship, promote innovation in competitive events, and build strong team bonds. My experience leading an entrepreneurship club and guiding nearly 90 participants through global competitions equips me to enhance BPA’s initiatives and help members unlock their full potential personally and professionally.
- How do you define and describe your leadership style?
My leadership style is collaborative and inclusive, empowering individuals to leverage their unique strengths. I encourage open communication, seek diverse perspectives, and promote mentorship to help others build confidence and leadership skills through guidance, meaningful feedback, and hands-on opportunities. - What are the most important values that you demonstrate as a leader?
Integrity, empathy, and accountability define my leadership. Integrity guides honest decisions, empathy helps me understand diverse perspectives, and accountability ensures I own my actions. These values foster a respectful and transparent environment where individuals thrive.
- What is your biggest accomplishment as a member of BPA?
My biggest accomplishment has been serving as Regional Vice President, coordinating regional and state competitions while fostering member engagement and collaboration. Additionally, seeing my peers and members grow and succeed remains my proudest achievement. - What is the most important goal you wish to achieve in service as an Executive Officer?
My most important goal as an Executive Officer is to ensure every BPA member feels valued and supported in their journey. I aim to foster strong bonds, collaboration, and innovation to empower members to thrive. By creating opportunities for mentorship and leadership, I will promote both personal and personal growth. - How can you create a culture of collaboration in a virtual environment to ensure a successful team?
To create a collaborative environment, I would establish clear communication, promote regular meetings, and foster spaces for connection and team building. By encouraging transparency and addressing challenges promptly, I would maintain an inclusive and productive environment where everyone feels engaged and connected. - How do you approach conflict resolution?
I approach conflict resolution by listening to all perspectives with empathy, identifying common ground, and fostering respectful discussions to find effective solutions. I believe in maintaining open communication and creating a safe environment where individuals feel comfortable expressing concerns.

Sydney Mendoza

- How do you define and describe your leadership style?
I define my leadership style as both compassionate and transparent, always striving to create a supportive environment for my team. I believe in understanding others, listening to their concerns, and guiding them with empathy. My adaptability towards each situation enables me to balance encouragement with direction. - What are the most important values that you demonstrate as a leader?
As a leader, I demonstrate the 3 C’s of leadership: Compassion, Communication, and Confidence. Compassion builds trust, communication fosters collaboration, and confidence inspires motivation. I use these values to help my members succeed in competition, service, and leadership, while learning from diverse perspectives. - What is your biggest accomplishment as a member of BPA?
As the BPA State Reporter, I had the opportunity to advocate for CTSOs at the State Capitol. I was worked with student leaders from other organizations and met with representatives and senators to highlight how CTSOs link education to professionalism. It helped me reinforce my passion for servant leadership. - What is the most important goal you wish to achieve in service as an Executive Officer?
BPA has made a significant impact over the past few decades, and as an Executive Officer I will focus on spreading awareness of its impact. Specifically, I strive to bring a greater representation of the associate division, because every student deserves an avenue to succeed regardless of socioeconomic barriers. - How can you create a culture of collaboration in a virtual environment to ensure a successful team?
A culture of collaboration in a virtual environment begins with clear communication, engagement, and inclusivity. I will focus on regular check-ins and open discussions to keep everyone connected and provide an allotted time for officers to share their ideas. This will help foster a supportive and motivating atmosphere. - How do you approach conflict resolution?
When met with a conflict, I first listen to all perspectives with an open mind. My approach involves understanding the root of the issue, finding common ground, and fostering open communication. My goal is to create a solution that benefits everyone while making them feel valued in a respectful environment.

Lights, Camera, Action. Hello BPA! I’m Angel Pina and I’m honored to invite you to the movie premiere of Business Professionals of America. As an executive council candidate, I aspire to make BPA even more inclusive—initiating my plan to showcase scholarship, career, and community service opportunities. By advancing communication, creating professional growth initiatives, celebrating members, increasing membership, and optimizing alumni, I strive to direct your BPA journey toward the vision of a more accessible and diverse organization. Together, we can capture your picture-perfect angle with Angel! It all starts with an action plan that empowers every member to succeed.
- How do you define and describe your leadership style?
Without satisfied members, there is no successful organization. I take my understanding of servant leadership and apply it to every initiative with the goal of improving the experience of those that I serve. My position is not only a platform to lead, it’s an instrument to amplify voices.
- What are the most important values that you demonstrate as a leader?
Every decision I make comes with a responsibility of being the voice of the individuals I represent. This responsibility is driven by my empathy and passion for growth, to effectively represent our members. And my greatest source of motivation is the ability to explore and learn from their unique perspectives.
- What is your biggest accomplishment as a member of BPA?
Founding the first ever Texas Leadership Camp. As the State Associate Vice President, my position is focused on ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed, overcoming socioeconomic barriers. I’m especially proud that through TLC, I was able to pursue this by connecting students to leadership and professionalism.
- What is the most important goal you wish to achieve in service as an Executive Officer?
Inclusivity is a primary goal of BPA and I will help expand this mission by utilizing my experience in leading underrepresented students in Texas. By increasing student interest in advancement opportunities such as the national associate division, members will succeed in BPA no matter the adversities they face. - How can you create a culture of collaboration in a virtual environment to ensure a successful team?
It's all about fostering connections to create a culture of collaboration. With my ability to bring others together for one collective mission, I will synthesize our team’s diverse perspectives to create engaging content on multiple platforms that reflect each of our values, while connecting with the students we serve.
- How do you approach conflict resolution?
Resolving conflicts means being comfortable with being uncomfortable. As an open-minded leader, I value the experiences of all parties without bias—often leading to difficult conversations. However, it’s by embracing these tough discussions that integrity and honest dialogue (sometimes through discourse) is encouraged.
