Do you dream about singing in front of thousands of cheering fans? If so, here's your chance! Just submit your entry in our Texas BPA Oh Say Can You Sing? contest, and you could win the honor of performing in front of your fellow BPA members for one of the Opening Session at this year's State Leadership Conference in Dallas, Texas.

Contestants:
Contestants must be a registered member of Business Professionals of America, Texas Association at the time of submission. Contestant can belong to the Middle Level, Associate, Secondary or Post-Secondary Division or an Advisor of a registered chapter in the Texas Association.
Eligibility:
Contestants may be submitted as a soloist, duo or trio. No more than three (3) singers will be considered. All individuals in a duo or trio must meet all the required criteria to win.
Entries:
Contestants may submit their entry using the form below until 11:59 pm CST on December 6, 2024. To enter, participants must submit an entry form with a video of the participant(s) singing The Star-Spangled Banner. (NOTE: One entry form per video submission.) Contestants may sing acapella or to a track; however, whichever is submitted for the entry is also how the winner must perform it at the event. Limit one (1) entry per soloist, duo, or trio.
Video submissions must include the following:
  • An Introduction (name, age and city)
  • Perform in English and be an authentic, original video created by the contestant(s)
  • Show your face(s) during the entire video
  • Have sound quality that is clear with no background noise
  • Show the contestant(s) singing The Star-Spangled Banner in its original form
  • Be no more than 2 minutes in length
Entry Period Dates to Remember:
Entry submission deadline: December 6, 2024 at 11:59 P.M.
Judging:
The State Officer Team will judge al entries and choose the winning performance. The winners will be notified by email prior to January 10, 2025. One(1) entry (soloist, duo, or trio) will be selected as the winner and will have the honor of singing The Star-Spangled Banner. BPA, Texas Association reserves the right to appoint a vocalist at its own discretion..
Restrictions:
BPA, Texas Association reserves the right to refuse any video it determines to be obscene, offensive, unacceptable, or inappropriate. Any video depicting nudity or foul language will be automatically disqualified. Any entries that do not follow the rules and regulations of this contest will automatically be disqualified.

All entries become the property of BPA, Texas Association and by submitting an entry, contestants agree that BPA, Texas Association has an exclusive, royalty-free, and irrevocable right and license to edit, modify, adapt, publish, promote, and otherwise use the video entry and video of the performance in any way, in whole or in part, without reward or compensation.
