Welcome to Iowa BPA
Business Professionals of America (BPA) is a national, cocurricular, career/technical organization for students in middle school, high school, and college business and technology programs
Students compete at the regional, state, and national levels in more than 50 Workplace Skills Assessment Program events, engage in community and leadership service activities, and meet business students across the state and country through participation in our programs.
Our alumni go on to do great things: leading their industry, advocating for others, and achieving educational success. In conjunction with K-12 schools, colleges, and universities across the state, we help prepare today’s students to become tomorrow’s business professionals.

Did you know that the National Leadership Conference for 2023 is being held in Anaheim, California? Competing at the State Leadership Conference in Des Moines or becoming an ambassador with your Torch Awards can reserve you a spot in California. The sunny city of Anaheim is home to the happiest place on earth, Disneyland! The NLC convention center is only a four-minute walk to this great attraction. Don’t worry if you aren’t interested in Disney, are you into sports? Anaheim, California is home to the pro baseball team, the Angels. Are you looking for a beach to spend some of your time on while at NLC? There are many white sandy beaches a few miles outside of Anaheim, with Huntington Beach being the closest. As you can see there are plenty of attractions in Anaheim, now how are you going to get there? Practice your events so you can place you events at the State Leadership Conference to secure your spot in Anaheim! We are looking forward to seeing all of you represent our great State of Iowa, April 26-30, 2023, in Anaheim!
