Promoting Professionalism and Leadership
The Business Professionals of America Torch Awards Program is designed to promote professionalism and leadership in both career development and personal growth.
Students complete activities in the seven Torch categories:Leadership; Service; Cooperation; Knowledge; Friendship; Love, Hope, Faith; and Patriotism- then log their activities in an online Torch Résumé.
Each activity is worth 5, 10, 15, or 20 points. When a student achieves a certain number of points for each category, his/her advisor or local reviewer can submit the résumé online to be reviewed for recognition. All students completing a satisfactory résumé will earn either an Executive, Diplomat, Statesman or Ambassador Torch Award certificate.
Be recognized during the Wisconsin State Leadership Conference by completing activities for you to qualify for the Statesman Award. Activities must be logged and submitted no later than 11:59pm on February 17, 2023 to be considered for the 2023 WI SLC Statesman Torch Award recognition.

Congratulations to the 2023 Pin Contest Winner - Tara Chapman!
About The Contest:
The State Pin Contest is a yearly BPA tradition, and we are currently accepting submissions for this year's contest! This is a great way to demonstrate your creative skills and make your mark on the state and national organization.
Since Wisconsin is a smaller state association with only 1 membership level, our state pin is highly coveted by members at the National Leadership Conference.
Pin Contest entries cannot exceed a size of 2" x 2", cannot include any gaps or holes in the design, and they must be submitted in PDF format.
Additionally, designs cannot include any copyrighted material or designs.
If you need ideas, be sure to check out the designs on this page - they were created by former Wisconsin BPA members!
How You Can Participate
Any Wisconsin BPA member, advisor or Alumni is eligible to participate.
As an extra bonus for student members: anyone who submits a design can earn 5 Torch Award points under Service 229, and the winner of the contest is eligible for Service 230.
Pin Contest designs can be submitted on the Online Entry Form: Check back in Fall 2023 for the 2024 contest!
Any questions about this year's Pin Design Contest can be directed to any member of the Wisconsin BPA State Officer Team. GOOD LUCK!
