National Virtual Chapter Officer Application

Applications to serve as a National Virtual Chapter Officer will be accepted starting on September 15, 2023
The deadline to submit your completed application is October 1, 2023

Eligibility Requirements

You must be a student member in the Secondary or Post-secondary Division.
Your annual membership dues must be paid in full prior to submitting your application.
You must currently have and maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
You must be able to attend all scheduled National Virtual Chapter Meetings.
You must be a person that is highly organized, detail-oriented and provide timely responses.

Officer Positions

President

It shall be the duty of the president to preside at all business meetings; to preside over officer meetings; to make all necessary committee appointments including the designation of committee chairs; to be available, as necessary, in promoting the general welfare of Business Professionals of America.

Vice-President

It shall be the duty of the vice president to serve in any capacity as directed by the president; to serve as chair of committees; to accept the responsibilities of the president as occasions may demand; and to be available, as necessary, in promoting the general welfare of Business Professionals of America.

Secretary

It shall be the duty of the secretary to serve in any capacity as directed by the president; to record the proceedings of all business and officer meetings; to be available, as necessary, in promoting the general welfare of Business Professionals of America.

Treasurer

It shall be the duty of the treasurer to serve in any capacity as directed by the president; to record and assist in chapter fundraising; to be available, as necessary, in promoting the general welfare of Business Professionals of America.

Parliamentarian

It shall be the duty of the parliamentarian to be responsible for the general conduct at the meeting; to rule on rules of order, should the occasion arise, during the business meetings of Business Professionals of America,National Virtual Chapter; and to be available, as necessary, in promoting the general welfare of Business Professionals of America.

Historian

It shall be the duty of the historian create and document virtual chapter activities; help design and post awareness to social media; and to be available, as necessary, in promoting the general welfare of Business Professionals of America.
