Mission Statement<\/h4>\n

Our mission is to contribute to the preparation of global professionals through the advancement of leadership, citizenship, academic, and technological skills.<\/p>\n

Vision Statement<\/h4>\n

To be an innovator in Career and Technical Education, providing our members with opportunities for growth through education, competition, community service, and personal development.<\/p>\n

Purpose<\/h4>\n

The purposes of this organization are:<\/p>\n

  • \n

    To provide opportunities for chapter members in leadership and development.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    To unite in a common professional bond without regard to race, creed, sex or national origin of students enrolled in classes with business employment as their objective.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    To develop leadership abilities through participation in career and technical education, civic, recreational, and social activities. To assist students in establishing realistic employment objectives.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    To create enthusiasm for learning.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    To promote high standards in ethics, workmanship, and scholarship.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    To develop the ability of students to plan together, organize, and carry out worthy activities and projects through the use of the democratic processes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    To foster an understanding of the functions of labor, entrepreneurial, and management organizations in the American free enterprise system.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    To develop competent, assertive leaders in business education.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    To develop and strengthen members’ confidence in themselves and their work.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    To provide satisfactory social and recreational activities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Membership<\/strong><\/h4>\n

     <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

    ML - Middle Level<\/p>\n

    Middle Level Division Members are students enrolled in an approved ODEW CTE middle school course and in grades 7-8.<\/p>\n

    Membership Dues: $3 Ohio\/$10 National<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div>

    S - Secondary\/Associate<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Secondary Division Members are students enrolled in an approved ODEW CTE high school course related to arts and communications, business, finance, information technology, or marketing careers and in grades 9-12.<\/p>\n

    Membership Dues: $6 Ohio\/$14 National<\/span><\/p><\/div><\/div>

    PS - Post-Secondary\/Collegiate<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Post-Secondary Division Members are students enrolled in a coherent sequence of courses or a career major that prepares them for further education or employment related to arts and communications, business, finance, information technology, or marketing careers and must be earning credit towards a degree.<\/p>\n
