Certiport Parental Consent Form<\/span><\/h1><\/div><\/div>

Requirements for Certiport Exams Being Enforced at NLC<\/span><\/h2><\/div><\/div>

This year there is a requirement that has been implemented by Certiport<\/strong><\/a>\u2014at the direction of Microsoft and Pearson VUE<\/em>\u2014regarding any and all MOS and Information Technology Specialist (ITS) exams incorporated into the BPA Workplace Skills Assessment Program (WSAP).\u00a0 All students under the age of 18 will be required to submit a signed parental consent form which must be on file with the National Center in order for scores to be released to BPA at Nationals.<\/span><\/p>\n

This form must be on file with the National Center for any and all student contestants who are\/will be under the age of 18 before May 1, 2026.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

It is strongly encouraged that all states include this newly required parental consent form in all BPA materials and packets for students who may and\/or will be advancing to Nationals. <\/span>\u00a0 Additionally, Certiport will accept scanned original signatures, however, they will not accept digital signatures; so, the form must physically be signed before being scanned and submitted.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Business Professionals of America will utilize the pre-submit system to collect the scanned and signed Certiport Parental Consent Forms. We urge advisors to maintain the original paper copy and have it on file with them while at the National Leadership Conference.<\/span><\/p>\n
