Positions I've am/have held: Minnesota College Division, Executive Director Business Professionals of America, Business Professionals of America Board of Trustee-Secretary, Past Business Professionals of America National Vice-President, and Past Minnesota Business Professionals of America State President.
My goal is to see that all students see their potential and help them pursue their passion as well as promote community service, explore leadership opportunities, and their growth in personal development. One of my greatest experience in BPA was being elected as the Post-Secondary National Vice-President as a non-traditional student. The next was becoming the MN State College Division Executive Director of Business Professionals of America and seeing many of my students become National winners and State Officers and National Officers.
I love to sew, quilt, camp, ride bike trails. My girlfriend and I have been best friends for 58 years. I love babies and dogs and will always stop to talk to them.

Hi everyone! I am Mercedes Suedbeck, the 2022-2023 President of the Minnesota Post-secondary Business Professionals of America division. I am originally from a small town, Gaylord, in south-central Minnesota; however, I moved to Duluth in the fall of 2020 to start college. I attended Lake Superior College for my first two years and recently transferred to the University of Minnesota–Duluth to finish my marketing major with a minor in management. I have been a member of BPA for three years, and it has been a great experience. My favorite thing that i have accomplished so far in my BPA journey is last year when I made it to nationals in Dallas, Texas, and won first place in one of my events.
As president, there are some things I would like to accomplish in my time this year. I would like to connect with others and learn their stories about various experiences. Secondly, I want to reach out to more people in colleges to inform them about what BPA is, what it offers, how it is beneficial, and to join the organization. I look forward to meeting you all and having a great year!

Hello everyone! My name is Jasmine Malone and I'm excited to be your 2022-2023 State Executive Vice President. I am currently enrolled in my second year at Lake Superior College, where I am the chapter president, and have been involved in BPA all throughout high school in my hometown of Battle Lake, MN. That being said, this is my sixth year competing in BPA overall. I am currently pursuing a diploma in Media Studies and Production and an AA transfer degree in Communications before transferring to another college to finish it out as a bachelor's. While working toward these degrees, I am employed in production at WDIO-TV, the ABC affiliate station in Duluth, MN, and currently training to be a director.
I've been so grateful for my time and experiences in BPA over the years and am excited to find out how I can contribute in greater capacity to an organization that's done so much for me as a student and as a person.

Hi! I’m Allison Jensen, and I am your 2022-2023 Recording Vice President for the Post-secondary division of Minnesota BPA. I grew up on a small farm outside of Comfrey, MN, which is where I discovered BPA through my high school business teacher. I am currently attending Alexandria Technical and Community College to complete my second degree, Liberal Arts & Sciences AA, which I will be completing this summer. I graduated with my Paralegal degree from ATCC in the fall of 2022. When I’m not studying, I love to read, crochet, write, hang out with friends and family, and anything music related.
Business Professionals of America has been my life for five years and I am excited to see what this year brings. BPA is all about meeting new people, building lasting friendships, developing workplace and leadership skills, and showcasing your skills through competitions. BPA has created many of my favorite memories and fast friendships that I will cherish forever.
I wish you all the best as you take another step in your BPA journey!
