AP® Business Challenge — Parent/Guardian Consent
Required for any participant under 18 years of age.
The AP Business Challenge is an academic entrepreneurship competition for students enrolled in AP Business with Personal Finance. This form asks a parent or guardian of a student under 18 to acknowledge the program terms and consent to the use of the student’s work for showcase and promotional purposes for the 2027–2028 season.
What you are consenting to
- Media & showcase. The student’s entry, pitch, video, first name, last initial, school, and likeness may be used by Business Professionals of America (BPA) and its partners for Challenge showcase and promotional purposes across print, web, social media, and events.
- Intellectual property & confidentiality. The Challenge is an academic exercise. No single team member owns the team’s idea, and submissions may become publicly accessible. The student should not submit anything the family considers proprietary or wishes to keep confidential.
- Participation. You consent to the student’s participation and agree that success is measured by learning from the entrepreneurial process, not by launching a profitable business.
