Bet on the Future

Hosted By

Every emerging industry is stuck behind one keystone problem. Solve it, and the world as we know it changes. The companies working on these bottlenecks are the ones building the future, and the investors who spot them early win big.

In this challenge, your team plays senior analyst, briefing an investor on where to place their next bet. Pick a frontier industry, from grid-scale energy storage to cellular agriculture to reusable rockets. Find its bottleneck problem waiting to be solved, the companies working on it, and what you think will be the breakthrough that changes everything. Then call it: bet, wait, or pass, backed by one bold prediction.

Teams of 2 to 4. One 3 to 5 minute video, one one-page brief. Bonus for interviewing someone in the field.
